Brad began his journey at Amazon as a Retail Leadership Intern, advancing rapidly to the role of Senior Marketing Manager for Pet Supplies. During his time in the role, he focused on improving ROI activities, marketing channels, and product testing. He led multiple product marketing teams to revamp and upgrade the Amazon Pets desktop/mobile experience, conducted customer segmentation research, and implemented email automation initiatives.
His strategic efforts resulted in significant revenue gains, realizing $31 million in Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and an additional $32 million through Search Engine Optimization (SEO). His innitiatives led to a remarkable 57% YoY increase in customer shopping sessions, generating an additional $12 million through affiliate marketing.
Additionally, Brad increased merchandising revenue by 115%, and improved purchase conversion by 4.6% through feature and design enhancements. Brad's strategies resulted in a 2.1% improvement in conversion from search by enhancing image quality on detail pages, while decreasing external abandonment from 11.42% to 5.67% through a new mobile merchandising strategy.
Brad’s ideas and strategies significantly boosted revenue per mail by 225%, enhancing it from $0.08 to $0.26 and driving $15.1 million in channel revenue growth. Additionally, he drove gains across all email metrics, increasing YoY revenue by 33% and improving open rates by 3%.
